Honda has unveiled their latest Diesel CR-V at the Geneva Auto Show which is powered by a 1.6L diesel engine featuring the class leading Earth Dreams technology.

The new 1.6-liter i-DTEC engine is the lightest in its class has lesser mechanical friction than its higher capacity 2.2 L i-DTEC engine, produced a  maximum output  of 120 Bhp at 4,000 rpm and 300 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm.

Honda unveiled its diesel engine at the Tokyo Motor Show this year that is slated to go into the hoods of Civic and Accord in 2013.
