General Motors will be showcasing the New Captiva Facelift at the Geneva Motor Show that is scheduled in March 2013. The company says that the new Captiva will have several changes both on the Interior and Exteriors of the car.
There are already many photographs of the face lifted Captiva that has surfaced on the internet which show the changes on the outside the new Captiva has a new bumper, new mesh for the grill and new fog lamps, the sides of the SUV largely remain unchanged just that it now sports a 18’inch alloy wheels.
On the rear it gets a new LED tail lamp and the dual exhausts are replaced by angular ones.
Coming to the interiors, the car gets new seat fabrics, revised instrument panel with dual zone climate control, ambient lighting, heated seats and leather upholstery for the top of the line variants.
The New Captiva will come in two engine variants powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine one will have a turbocharger which produces 184 Bhp and a torque of 400Nm, whereas the other engine churns out 163bhp and 350nm of torque both are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
The face lifted Captiva will be launched in India after it goes on sale in the International Market and will compete against Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Outlander and Ford Endevour.
