Followed by the unveiling of the all new SUV from Mahindra named XUV 500 yesterday, the announcement of the prices was kept on hold and was announced early today.
The XUV 500 blows us away with prices starting at Rs. 10.8 lakhs for the entry level variant ranging upto Rs.12.88 lakhs( Ex- Showroom, Delhi) for the top-end variant. The XUV 500 will be available in three variants, two in 2WD and one 4WD.

The XUV 500 is powered by the well known 2.2L mHawk engine that’s doing duty on the Scorpio but a tweak on the power front delivering 136bhp unlike the 120bhp as in the Scorpio. It comes with a 6-speed manual transmission to handle more torque that has been re-worked on the mHawk engine.
