Volkswagen has launched a refreshed version of their star hatch and sedan; the Polo and Vento, an upgraded top of the line Highline variant. Though there was a Highline variant on offer before Volkswagen has added extra goodies to the two cars inorder to increase the slow pace of the Polo and Vento.
The new Polo and Vento Highline will sport a new headlight with black inserts, new alloy wheels, navigation system, rear view camera, new music system with USB and bluetooth connectivity, speed sensing volume control, steering mounted audio controls and leather wrapped steering wheel, gear knob and handbrakes.
The Polo Diesel Highline is priced at Rs6.94 lakhs (ex-showroom,Delhi) and the Vento Diesel Highline costs Rs9.89 lakh.
The refreshed Polo and Vento will be sold in the second half of Spetember and with the festive season around the corner, prospective buyers will look for a value car and with a compact SUV priced similar to a sedan, will the refreshed Volkswagen sibling manage that value for money tag? Or will buyers go for the Renault Duster instead? Rather, wait and watch !
