Mahindra will be launching an upgraded version of the Rodeo and the new model will be called the Rodeo RZ that is expected to hit the roads soon. The new Rodeo RZ is expected to be more road friendly and might come along with a facelift, a new instrumentation and internal changes.
The Rodeo is meant to be a performance scooter which comes with a 125cc four stroke engine that delivers 8 BHP of peak power output at 7000 RPM and 9 Nm of peak torque output at 5500 RPM. It is mated to a CVT automatic gearbox and has a top speed of 80 km/h.
The Rodeo features telescopic forks at the front and a hydraulic rear suspension. The petrol tank has a capacity of 4.5-liters and a range of around 200 kms on a full tank. The RodeoRZ weighs 106 kgs and has a ground clearance of 115 mm.
The main USP of the Rodeo RZ will be its good fuel economy which is something that all of us would be expecting from this scooter considering the current petrol prices which shall definitely make this scooter a success. The Rodeo RZ is also expected to boast of a better build quality.
Mahindra also has plans of relaunching the Stallio 110, a commuter motorcycle in a few months. Mahindra also has plans of bringing back the Mojo 300 premium sports motorcycle which they showcased back in 2010. When showcased first, the Mojo 300 created immense interest amongst the motorcycle enthusiasts but Mahindra have been taking their own time to deliver this exciting product. however, the product hasn’t been ruled out yet.
