Honda Dream Yuga motorcycle launched in Delhi by the brand ambassador for Honda Motorcycles, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar that Honda will manufacture at Manesar and will be available in the market in June. The Honda Dream Yuga is a commuter segment city bike for which Honda has given it a tagline – ‘Ek naya yug, ek naya dream’. The main USP of this commuter motorcycle being its fuel efficiency figure of a whopping best in class 72km/l.
The Honda Dream Yuga is powered by a 109cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which produces a peak power output of 8.5 BHP at 7500 RPM and a peak torque output of 9 Nm at 6000 RPM is mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox. The Dream Yuga boasts of Honda’s intelligent ignition control system, which works according to load and increases torque and mileage.
The Honda Dream Yuga is available in 3 variants where in the base variant is priced at Rs.44,642 has kick start and spoke wheels, the mid-variant is priced at Rs. 46,134 has kick-start and alloy wheels and the top end variants priced at Rs.48,125 gets electric start and alloy wheels and 5 colours namely Black, Force Silver Metallic, Maple Brown Metallic, Monsoon Grey Metallic and Alpha Red Metallic.
The Dream Yuga has the smallest turning radius and all variants get drum brakes and the target customers being in the age group of 25-29 years which Honda is considering seriously and is planning for new products in this segment.
