Bajaj Auto revealed its latest offering in the commuter segment, the Discover 125 ST (Sports Tourer) in New Delhi. Bajaj has had quite a few variants on the Discover since its launch as a 110cc motorcycle to keep the sales ticking but this time it is a whole new product unlike cosmetic changes to the existing one.
The Bajaj Discover ST125 has a lot to offer in this segment that is on par with the recent trend in the biking sector. Some to mention, the Bajaj Discover 125ST gets a brand new headlamp, a new instrument console, a new 10 liter fuel tank, new alloy wheels and a monoshock rear suspension new side panels and the grab rail.

The 2012 Discover ST 125 also gets a new style seat, a new mudguard, a new exhaust muffler and an exposed O-ring based drive chain. The Discover ST 125 comes with a 200 mm petal disc up front and a 130mm mechanical drum brake at the rear.
The motorcycle will be powered by a 125cc engine incorporated with Bajaj’s DTS-i technology and a four valve head that produces 12.8bhp of power that is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The bike features both kick-start as well as self-start.
The motorcycle is expected to be priced at Rs.55,000 (ex-showroom) and will be available by the end of June 2012.
