Ducati Monster 795 Launched in Philippines

Ducati launched its cheapest motorcycle yet the Ducati Monster 795 at an affordable price tag of Philippines Peso 570,000 – Rs. 6,55,000. This sports motorcycle from Ducati is specifically designed for the Asian market, and is positioned to challenge the existing 600cc motorcycles there.

The Monster 795 comes with engine of Monster 796 – an 803cc engine, L-twin two valves per cylinder, air cooled. The engine gives power of 87 bhp at 8,250 rpm with a maximum torque of 78Nm at 6,250 rpm. The motorcycle has a chassis of monster 696. Its tubular steel frame makes the bike light weight – its dry weight being just 167 kg.

The Monster 795 is being assembled at the company’s Thailand facility. The company has highlighted their investment focus is on the growing Asian market. Ducati Asia Pacific has zeroed on Thailand as their location for assembly plant. The motorcycle is available Singapore, Vietnam, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, and Hong Kong. Ducati has priced Monster 795 at Rs. 5.99 lakhs in India.
