Honda Resumes Normal Production

Honda Resumes Normal Production, To Clear Brio Backlog By March
 
Honda, which suffered a disruption in its Thailand facility due to floods, has resumed production operations at its facillity in Greater Noida. Honda currently will start with manufacturing 370 cars everyday. Starting next week Honda will start manufacturing 440 cars everyday. Honda will source parts from China and Japan. The Japanese automaker aims to reach peak production level by March this year, with the intention of clearing all Brio bookings.  

Production of Honda City, the brand’s most significant vehicle for their Indian market, has also accelerated. Honda produced 1500 units of the City last month. Jazz, which is quite in demand after its price revision, will also follow suit. By February end, Honda plans to gear up to clear Jazz bookings.
